Tropical smoothie

Today, my inspiration was a can of mangoes I found during the week. I had never stumbled across this before, and being the mango lover I am, they were put into my trolley immediately. As many people know, I never have any luck in the kitchen. But, on this lazy Sunday, my creation was successful. After scouring Pinterest for recipes, I came up with my own. For this, I used almost a whole can of mangoes, one tub of symbio passion fruit yoghurt, and one banana. The result was a very tropical, very thick smoothie.

Smoothies are so versatile, you could use anything! Also, an incredibly healthy alternitive to any lunch. Now the only thing left to do is to enjoy, and clean up.

First Post- Water Beads

After an incredibly realaxing holiday in hawaii, I came home with my first piece of inspiration for my blog. At a small stall in a nearby market to our hotel, they were selling these.
The cost of one of these tubes was $5 US. I bought one tube to bring home and use. I knew immediatly what i would use them for, to put into two of my three mason jars sitting in my room. They had been sitting there empty for a while now, so I felt that these would be the perfect decor for them. Instructions said to place the beads in a bowl with 2 litres of water for 12 hours.

This was how they looked in their large water bath. but, after only 7 hours, they were finished soaking in al their water. It was amazing watching the little beads puff up to the size they became, and equally as fun to play with.

As my first post, i thought I should create something different and easy. But, I do not know where else to purchase the waterbeads, and may need to look into buying some more!
